SAP Host Agent upgrade

Here you can find simple steps to upgrade SAP Host Agent.

1. Download SAP Host Agent installation files from SAP Support portal.

Support Packages & Patches -> By Alphabetical Index -> H > SAP Host Agent -> SAP Host Agent 7.21

Check current SAP Host Agent version with below command.

cd /usr/sap/hostctrl/exe
./saphostexe -version

Example output is as below.

Upgrade command is as below. You need to change file path with your file path.

./saphostexec -upgrade -archive /setup_files/host/SAPHOSTAGENT49_49-20009394.SAR

After successfully finished upgrade check version once.
